So where are you going to be for the Bongo Party on the day of Independance!!!??? The party begins on the 15 and ends till Sunday the 18th!!! This will be the Pre Runner for the infamous Cervantino!
We always start off with a nice dinner and then hit downtown! After that the party goes upstairs to a non-stop FOGATA in the Sierra!

Alhondiga, Guanajuato
This huge stone granary was the site of the first major Mexican victory against the Spanish in the War of Independence.
Attraction type: History museum; Landmark/point of interest! But dont come dress too nice because there will be confetti, fireworks and more flying in the air! And it will be loud. Come early to get a good spot.

If I were in the state of Gunajuato for El Grito on the 15th, I'd want to be in either Dolores Hidalgo or San Miguel de Allende, not the city of Guanajuato.
Please never bring your brand of insanity to SMdA.

CHIDO...Venga, I almost forgot about San Miguel and el cura Dolores Hidalgo...Those places are a blast!
Well, all 3 places are on the top list. I have been to all 3 and Quanaxhuato is ahead by a GOL.
But you can go to all three if you wish. You can Start at Saint Mickeys (SM), then Quanaxhuato (GTO,GTO) and end up at Dolores.

I have been to the Gto Jeep Tours for the past two years and next year i will be back.
As for el grito goes the best and only place to be is Dolores Hidalgo it's like Philadelphia ( Liberty Bell ) if any one tries to convince you to be in San Miguel for El Grito they are ignorant and don't know their history or where they live.
The Road from Guanajuato to Dolores is the most scenic route i have traveled in many years. The peolple in Jeep Masters really know how to treat you like you are at home. !@#$ ! ! ! tourists those are in orlando ! ! ! When i visit Gto. I feel like home and and the people there treat my family like brothers.
Ther is so much to say and so littel space on this and time. If you want to be treated like family and live life to it's fullest i hughly recomend COntacting Jeep Masters. If you feel like being a tourist and get ripped off contac anyone else ! ! !
