Watching the 2014 Olympics

My husband and I will be staying at a condo in Plaza Mar during the winter Olympics and we are wondering if there is a sports bar where we could go watch hockey games and other sporting events close to our condo......so much more fun cheering with others!

Closest would be Pour Favor, Lázaro Cárdenas #245, two blocks up the street from Plaza Mar.

Thanks JR it looks great! I just saw Poutine on their menu - are the owners Canadians or possibly Quebecers? I've never seen Poutine on a PV menu before???

Yes the owner Wayne is from Toronto, very easy for you, just exit Plaza Mar turn left and walk two blocks up on the same side of the street.

Thanks JR. MHB...that link is broken but I did find Steve's sports bar on google. Thanks for the recommendations. We might have to try more than one!

Top Questions section on the right - Sports Bars. Tons of them on the list on the south side. Can't say for certain about other locations, but Casa Isabel, Que? Pasa on A. Serdan and El Torito all use Canadian satellite feeds, so the Olympic coverage will be from home.

Jo2310 ... but you do remember when Luc & Louise used to have poutine on the menu when they did breakfast at the Miguelito's and Mama Dolores locations?

And Victor ... of Victor's Bar & Grill (on Pino Suarez, near Parque Cardenas), used to have it on his menu ... along with perogies too!! And he's Mexican!!

JRinPV .... is it Pour Favour where Victor is working now? If so, maybe the poutine on the menu came from his suggestion?

What if I don't want or go to a sports bar. Is there a way to watch some of the Olympics from my condo? I think the cable/satellite box is Telecable?
