Quick Mini Report

Just a quick little report. We are having a great time- weather is great, people are so helpful.

Ate a Panchos and my husband says he felt like a king- will be going back when we switch resorts over the weekend.

Had dinner at Tony's.

Went deep sea fishing on the Aries III - didn't get the elusive marlin, but brought in a nice mahi mahi which the resort cooked up for us and our boat mates.

Swore we wouldn't do a presentation, but did! Also swore we wouldn't do AI and got a good deal so are doing that for three days. Nice to be able to have breakfast and drinks and lunch around the pool and still go out for dinner. Had sushi at the el cid Country Club last night.

Resort very quiet- we are probably the wildest people here and have been in bed by midnight every night! :)

Was so busy sitting around the More pool yesterday we forgot the beach party at Diego's,

Having coffee on the balcony trying to figure out dinner for tonight - so many good choices!

Thanks for your report. Pancho's is on my list for next week. Which one did you eat at? Aren't there two? One across from the Pueblo Bonita Maz and the other somewhere else about 10 minutes or so from there?

The other Panchos is located on Gaviotis, across the street from Sea Shell City and next to Los Flores Resort.

Thanks. From the reviews, it seems the one near Sea Shell City gets the better reviews between the two.

Food-wise, I don't think there's much in it...they're both good. Location and ambience, the original wins hand over fist........an active beach view versus a less than active street view!

You will love the original Panchos across from Seashell City. A real Mazatlan experience.

We actually ate at the original one on the beach even though the other one was closer to us. We are moving today and will be a few doors away from them at Plaza Mazatlan. Plan on meeting new friends there tomorrow night to end our trip where it began!

Took a city tour - was great since we hadn't made it all the way to el Centro yet.

Ate another night of freshly caught fish at the el Cid Marina. We didn't plan on eating dinners at the resort, but they did an awesome job both times with the different fish. Fun waiters, great flaming dessert and Mexican coffee shows.

As usual on vacation, kinda tired of eating but that won't stop us from eating somewhere new tonight!

Panchitos (Panchos across from PB) has a grill for grilled steaks and fish which Pancho says he was unable to do at the beach location. When in season barbecued red snapper is mucho fanastico! we have a 1 kg fish cooked au natural - no barbecue sauce or salt. We just add the salsas provided at the table. Staff also prepare fresh salsa at the table most days at the PB location.

Buen provecho!
