Cell phone usage and iPad usage

We will be staying at the PB Maz and understand that they charge a lot for daily Internet access and that it is really slow. Not going there. Are there hotspots throught the city or at any specific location near PB Maz that we could use daily as long as we were paying customers?

Sorry, I misposted this in Pacific Coast forum

Lots of hotspots around, but Luna Palace next door is currently free.

Chuck, I suggest you just walk on the beach soutth and go into the beach side of Luna Palace, grab a spot, order a drink and start computing.

If you order something at The Inn at Mazatlan they will give you the password. That's where I'm at right now.

All of the Rico's have free wifi as well with a purchase. There's one within the El Cid complex and another next to Mary's further south in the Golden Zone.

Panchos that is almost across from Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan has free WIFI. They will give you the password. You can sit inside where the sun isn't quite as bright, or you can sit outside, under big umbrellas. The food and service is good too, as an added bonus. :-)
