I am heading down to Las Hadas in the first two weeks and would like to know if it is a good time to go. I woulld guess any time is a good time. Was wondering if the water is warm and if the rainy season is over. I was there in January and then in March. My favorite of the two was January. The water was clearer. Also if its colder, are there any jellyfish? Thanks for any help.

The water and weather should still be quite warm in the first two weeks of November. Depending on the year it could still be quite humid at that time as well but the rain should have stopped by then - though I must say this year we are having the wettest summer in my 10 summers here.

The water should still be very clear in November, the turbidity normally comes in with the colder water and high winds we experience in March. Because the water will still be warm there should not be many if any jelly fish.

I personally love to go to Manzanillo late November early December. IMO perfect weather.

I am with you Peddler, the best weather here is late November / early December and also the period after Easter until the real humidity and heat start normally in mid May. Interestingly enough these two periods are quite slow for tourism.

Something tells me you have picked a much better time than us. We are headed down the last week of July and from what I can tell it is wet and very humid. I'll think of it as an adventure since we had limited time to get away.

At least the water will be warm!

I would agree with Nan as to her comments about November and April being the best.

But I am also headed to Manzanillo late this month, and I have come to like mid summer for the scenic skies (beautiful clouds and frequent lightening), warm pools, and lush green hillsides. It will be hot and humid.

Dec '05 was quite humid in Barra de Navidad, but in Dec '06 El Careyes was nearly perfect.

From nearly 6800 ft where humidity is a nonissue.
