Winery with a Great View or Atmosphere ?

I would like to enjoy the view or atmosphere a winery has to offer during my visit to the finer lakes. Sorry if I offend true wine officianadoes. Suggestions please!

Thanks

So many of the wineries have great views of the lake. It would be tough to list them all, but a few to consider are Dr. Frank, Heron Hill and McGregor on Keuka Lake, and Red Newt, Lamoreaux Landing and Glenora on Seneca.

In Cayuga County, Long Point Winery has an awesome view. It is just outside of the quaint little village of Aurora, home of the world famous MacKenzie-Childs factory, store, and amazingly decorated farm house open for tours.

Cayuga Lake:

Sheldrake Point Vineyards is right on the lake. You can buy cheese & crackers and go sit on the rocky beach or their dock. Beautiful.

Americana Winery is does not have a lake view, but it has a gorgeous old barn that they dismantled, moved 5 miles, and rebuilt at the winery. They have a pond, and some sweet dogs.

Goose Watch also has a dock & beach, and great views.

Swedish Hill has a fun and lively atmosphere, and a donkey named Doobie, who is wildly popular.

Atmosphere is subjective. What kind of atmosphere do you like? The wines at Rasta Ranch on Seneca Lake are super sweet but boy does that place have atmosphere in spades. Hippie-dippie, totally trippy, with good folk.
