Best Tour Guide & Tour?

Hi,

Heading to Great Exuma in a couple of weeks and would like to do a tour to see the swimming pigs and maybe a few other things, would really like to swim with sharks for some odd reason. Have heard good things about 4C's and Exuma 007 but would appreciate any feedback good or bad on any tours operating preferably near Georgetown area. Thanks!

We like Ray and Justin with Exuma Water Sports! Their boat is the best.

But as you can see everyone has their favorites..lol

Our family has done this Exuma Cays trip several times. Most importantly, is to find a reputable operator/boat. Since it is expensive to maintain the boat, several operators will bail at the last moment should the weather predict rain as they don't want to add more problems to their vessel. We have been canceled twice on 2 separate vacations due to this problem. By far, 4 C's has a stellar reputation with boat safety and high standards. Very dependable & experienced! They do travel out if the weather is somewhat rainy and they only cancel if it's treacherous. We learned at the airport from another group as we headed back home that should we need a full day trip to book it with 4C's. We did last year and we were heading back to Exuma.

I think the difference is that some of the operators are a TOUR company that will fit up to 25 people on the boat and go out rain or shine. Could suck visiting pigs in the rain, trying to get into the grotto with rough seas and who wants to explore a sandbar with an umbrella.

The guys with smaller boats customize the trip, avoid the times when the tour companies are at the sites and won't make you spend your money for a crappy trip with inclement weather.

Boats are made to get wet; that isn't why some cancel on bad weather days. Think about it.
