Can you add another person to an All-Inclusive Package?

Hi everyone,

I recently booked a week-long Cancun trip with my friend. We have an all-inclusive package at the Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe. However, we now have another friend who would like to join. Orbitz said they cannot add another person to our package since we already paid (package included flight and hotel). Does anyone know, if my friend buys her flight separately, can/will the hotel add another person to our hotel room with an AI package? (this way she won't have to get another hotel room just for herself).

Thanks in advance!

1. Re: Can you add another person to an All-Inclusive Package?

Hi there,

Totally depends on the hotel. Firstly you have to check whether their rooms allow more than 2 people; the general US-style rooms of course can accomodate 4 in two double beds. And secondly you have to ask them an 'upgrade' price from 2 to 3 persons.

Nothing to do with Bahamas and neither Cancun, but the answer is simply to contact the hotel directly.

All the best,
