Arawak Cay fish fry

I'm staying on PI for a week in June. Having been there before I am interested in experiencing new dining places. I've been to Green Parrot, Anthony's, Montagu Gardens and enjoyed them all. Has anyone ever been to the "fish fry" places? How do you get there? Do they have picnic tables to eat from, how are the prices, etc? Also inerested in Conch Fritters.

Here's a link to a menu with prices and some other photos.

The Fish Fry is located on West Bay Street about half a mile from downtown. (Just walk along the beachfront heading west out of town)

Or you can take a jitney during the day (#10) or a cab.

It's really quite easy to get to.

Conch Fritters is located downtown Nassau directly across the street from the British Colonial Hilton. Ya can't miss it.

In june, The Fish Fry has celebration of "Junkanoo in June" every weekend in June. Music, stories, cultural events etc. Check you tourist newspaper when you arrive or ask you concierge for details. I haven't seen anything posted about it yet, but it takes place each year.
