does anyone know what the area right around the nassau harbour club inn is like? i know theres lots of businesses- but is it scuzy? the rates are good considering the new renovations. also how far away is a good sunbathing beach?could one walk? thanks!

The Inn is located in a marina, commercial area just off East Bay Street. There are several marinas in the area, and mainly commercial space surrounding it. There's a dance club nearby (waterloo) and a couple of restaurants.

I wouldn't walk around at nite, but It's fine during the daylight. This is true for most of Nassau.

There are no beaches along that stretch of the harbour, except a native beach just east of the inn Fort Montegue beach (you can walk there.) It's not raked or kept up, and there are no amenities, but the water is pristine

Get a good map of the area.
