Has anyone stayed at Radisson for Christmas/New Year?

Would appreciate any comments on what it was like. Was anything special laid on, did it feel festive in any way? Was also wondering about how easy it was to book a meal on Christmas Day in the restaurants.

Thank you.

We have stayed at the Radisson for the last 2 years in May. Dont know how much they decorate. Last December we stayed at the RIU on Paradise Island [big mistake] but we did see that the Bahamaians do decorate for Christmas and they do have Christmas trees.

As far as restruants, I learned the hard way, what ever restruant you are planning to go to, call ahead to make sure they are open. The Bahamaians have a lot of strange holidays that they close for.

Suggest you check out Cafe Kalick 2 blocks away great food great service big drinks

Bahamians celebrate Christmas in a big way. Decorations and celebrations everywhere (especially with Junkanoo on Boxing Day).

Most Restaurants will have special holiday menues, so reservations are a must. Check with your concierge upon arrival.
