We are booking a reservation at Caneel Bay and are interested in knowing some specifics about Caneel Bay' 7 beaches. Is there anyone who has visited there able to give some specific info about the beaches? Size? water conditions? privacy? Good for walking?Thanks much!! Report as inappropriate |

Hi.... I was there 17 years ago for my Honeymoon. You cannot go wrong here....No matter where you stay at Caneel Bay, you will LOVE it.....We were right on the beach/ocean view.....very private.....everything you would expect and much much more...I am so jealous of you...lol....We are dying to go back.......Have fun........enjoy......I still watch for any rate changes.....After being there only once........I'd go again and again if I could afford it...... I have been to Caneel. The beaches are very quiet. About 5 to 15 people on each beach. Unlike Trunk Bay which is a zoo! The water is calm at all the beaches, all are safe for swimming. They are not very big as I recall, maybe 300 to 500 yards. Report as inappropriate | ||||||

Hi The beaches are fantastic...favorites out of the 7: Turtle (most secluded, small), Scott, Hawksnest - good snorkeling/swimming at all of these & at Caneel beach proper too. The only beach which didn't excite me so much was Honeymoon - not quite as pretty, more biting insects for some reason. Can't wait to go back to Caneel. Report as inappropriate | ||||||
