Red Hook Ferry or CA ferry?

We are going to be staying at Gallow's Point and want to know the best way to get from the airport to St. John...via Red Hook Ferry or CA ferry? We are arriving around 2 pm on our flight.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Red Hook ferry without a doubt. They arrive/depart far more often and sometimes the CA ferry gets cancelled.

The only ferry you could catch from CA would be the 5:30 PM, making for a VERY long wait. With a 2PM arrival you should be able to easily make the 3PM from Red Hook. Here's the ferry schedules and rates:
