We are looking at some villas located near Coral Bay- does anyone know if there is much there- restaurants, etc. Or would we have to drive to Cruz Bay for that?

There quite a few restaurants in Coral Bay. Shipwreck Landing,

Vie's, Miss Lucy, Skinny Legs, Island Blues to name a few.

Some of the of the restaurants in Cruz Bay not to miss are

Stone Terrace, Fish Trap, Rhumb lines, Margan Mango,ZoZo.

Plenty of places to choose from. Do a search on restaurants in St. John USVI and you can get all kinds of information.

Small grocery and liquor store. (Love City)

Cruz Bay has Dolphin Market and Starfish.

Our villa agent said the markets have a decent selection of

food.

Just got back yesterday. There are a couple of mini mart type places in Coral Bay but you are much better off shoping at the Starfish market in Cruz Bay. Even better, rent a car a the airport and do a big shop on St Thomas before you come over. You will save a lot of money.

There is a great new restaurant called Sweet Plantains--unlike any othre on the island! The staff is friendly and the food is amazing-i ate there twice. There is a small grocery store called Love City in Coral Bay--it has a lot of stuff for a small space.
