late departing flight

We have to check out of our villa by 10 am and our plane doesn't leave StT until 5 pm. Any suggestions on how to spend that day? Can you get somebody to watch your luggage while you hang out a little longer on StJ?

We were able to leave our luggage with the car rental outfit.

We poked around the shops - which he hadn't done at all during the week we were there - had a leisurely lunch.

the time will fly - take the longer ferry to STT.

We just returned from St.John last week. Be sure to give yourself a

lot of time. We took the 11 a.m. ferry with a 4 p.m. flight and we were

glad we had the extra time. Security Line in St. Thomas was really long and hectic. It was a Saturday which might be the busiest. Traffic in

St Thomas was busy too. Lots of cruise ships were in. You can also

ask your Villa rental company for a possible late check-out if the

villa is not being rented for the next week.

You will need to catch the 2pm Red Hook ferry at the latest to have you at the airport by 3pm, so by the time you check out, drive to town, return the ca etc it will probably be 11am or so leaving you only 3 hours (approx) so I would have breakfast/lunch, shop alittle - you can check with your rental car co most will hold your luggage - and enjoy a drink at the beach bar and make your plans for your next trip :) *wink*
