Do all rooms have air now? Still no TV or phone? Which number did you stay at and how was it! Did you have the meal plan? Do they have a drink plan? What places did you eat on property and where did you eat off property?

Yes, still no TV and phones -- but all rooms are air conditioned. We stayed in the Tennis Garden Rooms -- all the way at the edge of the property. It was in our price range; of course, beach front is best.

We didn't do the meal plan (I don't think their plans include drinks). We ate at Equator -- which was OK. Skipped the Turtle Bay Estate because we heard it was not good. We ate the pre-ordered picnic beach lunch - great. Ate lunch at the cold buffet - also good. And, at the bar type restaurant on the patio -- also good.

Off property, Asolare for dinner was great. My friends had appetizers and drinks at Taj and enjoyed it too. Everyone said Zozo's is great - but we didn't make it.

Have they started to renovate the Tennis Garden rooms yet?Did you notice if the oceanview or courtside rooms have been renovated?

I am looking forward to your review. We are planning our 2008 trip and I am trying to narrow down our options. Caneel is a repeat favorite of ours but I am also considering Jumby.

I noticed that my review is posted -- "Beautiful, but short of perfect." Basically, the beaches and snorkeling are unreal and simply cannot be described. I don't know where I could visit that would even come close.

BUT we experienced really poor service, to say the least. If they are under new management, maybe it will get better? It's too bad because the setting is perfect.

I'm not sure about the renovations and where they are in the process, but I am sure you could get the information directly from Caneel or Rosewood. Gail in sales in Rosewood was really helpful when I was planning the trip.
