stayed there in May - had been bought by the Palace chain for 9 million (what a deal) - they now want to sell it for more than 20 million. Reasons I have heard include labor problems, inability to get VI government to provide tax relief, and too expensive to rehab to their standards - really don't know the reason it is closed.
