Buccaneer dress code for men? |
|
Can anyone tell me what men are required to wear for dinner at the Buccaneer? I know men don't need jackets but I'm wondering if they must wear long pants? My husand really hates to wear long pants on vaction so I'd like to know if he'd be required to do so at all the restaurants at the Buccaneer. Report as inappropriate |

I believe that as long as you wear a collared shirt and decent shorts you will be O.K. The Terrace restaurant is kind of expensive and the food is nothing special. The views from the terrace in the evening of Christiansted harbor and the rest of the island are outstanding. You can get the same experience sitting at the lobby bar while listening to some live music. The Brass Parrot was renovated about a year or two ago and is just a beautiful, beautiful setting. Do not know the dress code for it, but it is very pricey. I have not had the pleasure of eating there. Maybe some day. I do know that during the day, people show up at the beachside Mermaid restaurant with anything from dresses, shorts, bathing suits, tanktops etc. Also braekfast at the Terrace is very casual. I'm sure you will have a great time at The Buccaneer and St.Croix. Report as inappropriate

I have been to St. Croix several times and have eaten at restaurants all over the island. In tapping my long term memory I don't recall men being "required" to wear trousers. In fact, at the majority of places I think you would feel out of place if you were not in shorts and a polo. Report as inappropriate

Here in St. Croix the guys almost NEVER wear long pants. I can't think of any of the restaurants that require that. A nice shirt, shorts and sandals should get you in anywhere. At our more "upscale" events it is not unusual to see the ladies all decked out in beautiful long dresses and they guys in shorts. Hope you enjoy and have a very laid back visit.
