I stayed in building 3, oceanview room and the view was really great. Building 3 juts out further from the others, so there were no buildings directly next to our unit (good for breezes). Although now that they've installed A/C, it's not as critical. Building 15 is the one furthest out on the point. The "C" units are upper left, the "D" units are upper right. If you go to the Suite St. John webpage,

gallowspoint.com/panoramas/panoramas.html, they have a site plan and you can see that the units are numbered starting from the right with #1 through 9 are ocean view, plus #15. Numbers 10-14 are harborview. 6, 7, and 8 are all pretty much in a row. Gallows is great, no matter what unit you're in, you will really enjoy it.

Thanks for the info! From the pictures, it looks like Bldg. #15, 3, 8 and 9 all should be great. Any other opinions?

Buildings 1 and 2 are pretty spectacular, as the views from the patios give the feeling you are very secluded and "hanging on the edge of the world." The resort's website, www.GallowsPointResort.com, has a great virtual tour, lots of pictures. Their 800 number (800-323-7229) rings right at the resort on St. John, so you get the best service and up to date info.
