Grace Bay Club - Anacaona/Grill Rouge |
|
I am getting marriend at the Grace Bay Club in April and am planning through NILA destinations. Wondering if anyone has been to Anacaona or the Grill Rouge at the Grace Bay Club and if anyone can offer insight on the venue? |

Anacaona has the most romantic setting here on Provo. It is just steps away from the beach and you can hear the ocean. The main building and the bar are covered by a palapa roof and then there are tables out towards the ocean in a landscaped area. It is a large restaurant and can accomodate a lot of people. The grill is a much more casual affair. it has director chair type seating with red covers and is situated near the new pool area. It has a central grill where you can watch your meal being cooked and listen to the chef sing! It is very popular for lunch and quick bites. The other side of the bar has an area "the Lounge" this is a wonderful pre/post dinner cocktail area with large sofas and cushions, a fire pit, ambient lighting strung up from large sail type structures. It is romance 101.

Hi Ambersyltes, I've been reading through some posts and came across yours... We are getting married at Anacaona in April and have bllaned through Beatrix too! With RI being so small, I found it strange that someone else from RI was getting married at the same place at the same time. TCI is not excatly the most popular location. We got engaged at Anacoana 2.5 years ago. Been to TCI twice...and we could not think of a better place to exchange vows. We are very much looking forward to getting there. E

Hi Truppiedavies, What a coincidence!! We have never been there before but have been doing our research and also know others that have been there. We are getting married on the 21st of April - how about you? That would funny if we were there at the same time. Rosalind is coordinating for us at NILA. I have just had a hard time envisioning our venue so thats why I came to this site to see if anyone could give me some insight. Hope to hear back from you. Are you staying on the island for your honeymoon or going else where? We are staying at the Royal West Indies and still deciding what to do after the wedding.

Do you have specific questions regarding the venue? We've been to Anacoana twice, so we are familiar. We are getting married 4/26! :-) We arrive Provo on 4/19 - we are staying at The Palms for the first 2 nights. We then are moving over to The Sands. We are not staying in Provo for our honeymoon. We are going to Los Angeles then to Tahiti & Bora Bora. We did consider moving to one of the other Cays, but really wanted to go somewhere completly different. Not sure how long you've been planning or if you have any outstanidng questions. Let me know. E.

I am just confused because our wedding planner has put that on our webpage that our reception is at Anacaona but then says that it will be held at The Grill Rouge which is attached to Anacaona! But when I look at the Grace Bays webpage it appears to me that it has three entirely separate restuarants! I am just not sure if I am getting the run around or what! So I am just looking for some more information regarding the restuarants at The Grace Bay Club.

Anocoana and The Grill are next to each other, but seperate restaurants. The Grill is more casual, the setting has tables that can be put together to accomodate more people, and allows kids. Anocoana is more upscale, intimate, and does not allow children under 12. The tables are set in what almost seems like a private setting. The setting in Anocoana and the atmosphere it creates is gorgeous.

I think i can speak for Blamona and myself here..... unless you have a lot of children attending your reception try and get it at Anacaona. Like i said in my initial post the Grill is far more casual. But hey, different strokes for different folks, if you are getting married in a bikini then the Grills the place.
