My sister spent her wedding night at a Stirling House unit. All I can say, (and I've said it before) is "WOW".

Tingum: Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you implying I own something here?

I am a tourist. I trully wish I owned at Somerset. What a dream! If I owned at Somerset, I wouldn't post here.

I have been forthcoming about owning a house in Leeward. It is a single "as is house". We have long term renters that live on the island renting our house when we do not use it. We have averaged our long term renters to stay average 3 years each. I have never "advertised" my property on this forum. I do not work anywhere in T&C, and only have the 1 house. We are lucky enough to have 2 month vacations, which give me plenty of time to get to know the island.

I was lucky enough to stay at Somerset last May. It was before the grand opening. We were in between LONG term renters, and had to stay at a resort. We were lucky to try 3 of them. We have been coming down as tourists for 12 years, and manage to stay at almost the majority of resorts several times. I give my opinion as a tourist, for tourists.

TA is well aware of my background, and deemed it fine to be a "local expert."

Before you make accusations, do your homework.

I go through properties, eat at the restaurants, check them out, and report my observations. The beauty of a forum, is it allows all experiences, so a person can decide what's good or bad.

I rest my case.

??

Excuse me??

I was commenting on how Beautiful Blamona's wedding party was. I was lucky enough to see them while I was having lunch at The Bay Bistro Restaurant at The Sibonne....Her sister got married there.

I love the Sibonne and will reccomend it to everyone,

To get back on track... I apologize for making an off topic comment on Blamona's sisters wedding at The Sibonne.

I live here and so have never stayed at The Somerset, but if you type in the word Somerset in the above search bar you will see many comments from those that have.

Potcake it was Blamona who coined the phrase "Wow factor" rightfully so.

We continue to thank you both for your unpaid input to this forum, its been a great help to many myself included. I know both of you researched my questions brfore our trip.

For those of you suffering from foot in mouth disease I suggest you research before you come up with these off the wall assumptions.

Blamona since we are on the subject do you think your sister could post a non identifiable trip report. Would love to hear all about the places she stayed. Thanks

I'm sorry,, are we talking about Blamona's sister? Are we talking about Somerset? Blamona, I apologize I've not met or seen your sister, I'm sure she's a beautiful bride... I have been to Somerset and its stunning, also beautiful, I was able to take a tour almost a year ago... I'm sorry what's the question here and who is associated with which property?

I will say it too, WOW for the Somerset.

I was lucky enough to have friends staying at the Somerset and I got to see the place and experience the wonderful staff there.

Blamona, I am positive that your sister was a beautiful bride!

tingum WHAT? it seems you have some issues...what you posted makes no sense whatsoever...

the truth is both potcake and blamona are valuable resources here on trip advisor...we know and believe they do NOT own properties and are NOT promoting anything for their own finacial gains...

in fact they go out of their way to research and get answers for many posters here...

we trust them...however, now your story has peeked my interest and i wonder...has someone's honesty on this board hurt your money making ability?

maybe you just woke up on the wrong side of the buoy?

the fact is...WOW is a great way to describe the somerset...it is a gorgeous property with all the special features that would make royalty happy...

how that comment would have brought about such an irrelevant lecture is beyond me...

potcake and blamona...I know you are not promoting your own properties and I know you are doing us all a big favor by answering questions and spending your time helping future visitors know what to expect when they get there...I love you girls...:)
