recommendations on restaurants within walking distance and also can anyone recommend a hotel with spa for massage etc. near to Sibonne. Thank you. Construction seems to be a concern just about every island we visit...any really near Sibonne?

i believe the palms is within walking distance to sibonne and everyone loves their spa...

i know some of the spa's (spa tropique) will come to you if you wanted a massage in your room or on your beach...

restaurants....hemmingways at the sands is a big fav...bay bistro is right there at sibonne...palms, somerset, alexandra...all have restaurants and are within walking distance...i do believe you can hit salt mill plaza pretty easily too...

For restaurant the one on site is great, Hemingways at The Sands, is good and Prallel 23 for breakfast at The Palms. The spa at The Palms is the second resort over and is Canyon Ranch.

THere is no construction by Sibonne. Empty lot on one side, than on the other side The Somerset, The Palms, Alexandra (construction on site) and Verande (under construction). So you are far enough that you will not even notice it.

A short (about 5 minute) walk up the road from Sibonne is Bonnies. Bonnies is a local place with a pool table and 2 computers with free internet access. There's no airconditioning but there are tables outside (stay in the shade).

MUST DO - Ask for the 'Seafood Platter' at Bonnie's!!!

Walking to the west:

Orchid Bar & Grill

Parallel 23

O'Soleil

Bay Bistro - right at Sibonne

Walking to the east:

Hemingway's

Grace's Cottage

Iguana Seafood & Steakhouse

Bella Luna

... and on to Ports of Call

You will not be hungry.

Possibly Matsuri Sushi is supposed to open at The Saltmills in March as well.
