We were at T&C last week and for the weeks leading up to our visit I was trying to get a handled on the weather. We had one rainy / overcast day, there rest were nice. Even on the rainy day we had a great time. I learned a few important things about the weather on T&C

1. There forecast is always wrong

2. No matter how bad it gets in T&C it is often far better than you would have at home

3. Even when the T&C weather is less than perfect there is still a lot of fun outdoor things to do.

I'm vacationing on Provo now (at The Sands) and the weather has been BEAUTIFUL every day. Don't even look at the weather forecast. It's not right. Blue skies, gentle breezes and plenty of sun to warm up the days. The nights have been just as nice. I carried a light sweater with me to dinner both last night and on Tuesday night and never even considered putting it on!

Looks like I spoke too soon. We're home now but our last 2 days in Provo were a little wet!

Friday it rained on and off most of the day. We left on Saturday morning, but it was raining when we left.

When it's not raining, the sky opens up to blue sky and sun. It's really strange. Then the big, bad rain cloud comes in again and it starts pouring! We were horseback riding on the beach on Friday morning when it started raining. No warning at all. It was raining so hard that we had to turn the horses around so the rain wasn't blowing on their heads. It was pounding on my back and it hurt! The ride was abandoned 'cause apparently horses don't like rain and we had to return to the stables. We were soaked and rode back to the resort. As soon as we got out of the car, the sun came out and it was beautiful again. But then the clouds rolled in about an hour later and it rained for about another 45 minutes. That happened all day long on Friday and Friday night.

But the rest of the week was beautiful, barely a cloud in the sky. So, no complaints here!

Have a great time, don't worry about the weather. You will be in paradise and won't care!
