Just returned and found the 1 bedrm suite worth the money. Large and lavish with full kitchen which you need because the cost of meals is out of sight - more than I pay in NYC! Buy your own food at the grocery store, (a $20. RT cab ride) and make your own meals. Although spa looks good in pictures and offers a stunning reflecting pool view while waiting for services, the massage is TERRIBLE and certainly not worth the unusually high price to which they add 18% - total bill for 1 hour was $175. Ouch! Spa/gym far from room locations. Gym small with only 2 treadmills and some weight equipment. Showers, lockers, bathrooms, sinks all in separate areas. Not well thought out.
Daughter stayed in 2 bedroom Penthouse, but not good for families with little children as 2nd bedroom not really connected. Better to have 2 bedroom oceanfront suite which has connecting bedrooms.
Beach beautiful, pool surround VERY slippery - no kiddly pool. No childrens menus.
Staff friendly but not competent. Many mix ups due to the lack of understand what you are requesting. Training badly needed so perhaps when Regent management takes over it will be efficiently run and employees will not have to keep checking with others to find out the answers to your requests.
