Hello,
We went to the Turks and Caicos Club last year and loved it. Very nice interior, quiet, good breakfasts, large porch and lovely people. It did not have the business of some of the other hotels and that is why we liked it. We found it to be gracious and well appointed.
I would recommend it.
We stayed at Turks and Caicos Club and loved it. It is quite secluded, which is its charm, if that's what you want. Snorkelling is a 2 minute walk down the beach, a nice bonus. There is a restaurant onsite but you will need a car or taxi to get around to other dining choices. I think you will find the T&C oceanfront suites are less expensive than PG too. Wherever you decide to stay, try out PG's restaurant, Grace's Cottage. It was my favorite.
Both Beautiful.
Turks and Caicos Club is upscale but has a very home away from home feel.
The only thing about this resort is that is isn't within walking distance to as many places as Point Grace for example.
Point Grace has always and continues to be a favorite of mine. It has this wonderful feeling of calm about it. and it is in a great location. The only thing I would say is that the reviews about service have not been the greatest as of late??
If you are looking at these two lovely properties, I don't want to confuse you even more but you could also look at The Somerset.
It is quiet and has that feeling of peace and serenity but is newer and has that wow feeling about it...
Also The Palms is beautiful, upscale, but busier.. Look at that too.
Turks & Caicos Club is my suggestion. Just returned after a stay between October 4-8. We also looked at Poitn Grace, but glad we chose the Club because it looked by the reviews that it was nice and small but will all the services. Good choice for us. Nice staff (in particular Vanessa and Alfado.) Food at Simba was fabulous and Tony took care of us in great style. Don't worry about trying to be near everything- you're not far from anything- you're on an island!! We took cabs (5 minutes away to any other restaurant) and it was easy. You can walk the beach too. The beach is spectacular. We're in our 30's too. Not much nightlife on Provo, but not what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back!!
