We LOVED Grace's Cottage when we were there - very romantic. I definitely think the food is several notches up from Magnolias. (sorry, but plain steamed veggies and grouper dusted in corn meal don't seem so special to me.)

GC has an extensive menu of imaginative cuisine with excellent wine selections. That said, if you can count on a gorgeous sunset, obviously Magnolia's would have the edge. And it would also be less expensive.

I agree with D3TO on Grace's Cottage. Great food and a very intimate setting. Perfect for a wedding dinner.

Wedding dinner reception, I would go with Grace's Cottage out of the two.
