My husband and I are thinking of the Sands, but all of the reviews seem to be from people who were there with kids. (no offense to those travelling with kids ... just not the atmosphere we're looking for).

I'd be interested in hearing from couples who stayed there w/out kids ...

Check out Sibonne next door. Sands, though, didn't look like lots of kids were there either during our 8 night stay.

It depends when you go. If it close to school vacation week you may have more children than normally there. We went with our three year old in May and there was only a couple other kids there at that time

Hi

I went there in August 2005 with my fiance. We were actually concerned about children also. So my travel agent suggested The Sands.

There were very few children, mostly couples.

But the few children were very well behaved.

(no offense to people with children) !

I guess I would not go when there is school holidays.

We had a wonderful & peaceful time.
