If you already have reservations there, request a room on the east side (towards Leeward, or when facing CS, on the left side.) you may even want to email or call down the evening before. This will minimize the construction issue.

The only construction next to Comfort Suites is a small shopping plaza nearing completion on the west side. Seven Stars is across Grace Bay Road and should not be a problem. Ports of Call Shopping Plaza is between Comfort Suites and Grace Bay Road and there is NO construction behind or to the east of Comfort Suites.

Thanks for the info. I have already made reservations at Comfort Suites ,but I have enough time to cancel and change hotels. I am on a budget but I could afford to go to Sibonne . If they have openings I might switch. It really does appeal to me to be right by the beach. How is construction over there? I plan on being on foot most of the time , does anyone know if there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance . Is there a grocery and liqour store nearby?

If the price is within reason, switch to the Sibonne. It is a lovely little property right on the beach. The beach is spectacular and you are within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. My favorite restaurants near or at the Sibonne are Bay Bistro (at Sibonne), Hemingways (just down the beach a 3 minute walk) and Iguana at the Salt Mill's Plaza (less than a 10 minute walk). Moms
