 satellite internet?

I'm trying to find out if we can get satellite internet in our house on Bequia. I've heard some folks have DirecWay (HughesNet) on Mustique, but haven't heard of anyone having it on Bequia.

No, not wi fi. This is actually a verizon air card which allows me to go online where there is no hot spot. I use it for business in the U.S. and, I think, it works along the same principle as my cell phone. Since my Verizon cell phone doesn't work in the Grenadines I am unsure about the broadband air card.

obxpat,

There is absolutely no way to get *any* US data card (technically called a 3G wireless network) to work in the Grenadines. Or in Barbados, for that matter.

Verizon equipment of any kind will not work anywhere but in the US. Completely different technology.
