Not sure about actual sailboat options, but here is a charter option:

We just did a wonderful day trip on a 25ft speedboat with one of the locals named Captain Shelby. Shelby picked up our group of 9 (6 adults, 3 kids) from the swimming hole at Buckaneer Reef off of Robert Foster road and took us to Point of Sand on Little Cayman, where we spent the day. After spending hours at Point of Sand, he took us around the point of island where we snorkeled in the open water - amazing! We saw rays, a couple of small sharks, a few barracuda, and tons of fish. He provided some sodas and water for the group, but we had to pack food for our trip. Our day started around 9:30am and we were back on the Brac by 4pm. We were exhausted after a full day of swimming and fun in the sun! Shelby is a very small one man operation. If you have small children, you may want to bring your own PFDs. The cost of our trip was $300CI. His website is www.captainshelby.com. You can call him at 345-927-5413. Note: Captain Shelby is a super nice guy, but a bit hard to understand because of his accent :) Enjoy your trip on the Brac!

Cayman Islands law states that businesses should be licensed and inspected in order to be legal. Those that are licensed are considered safe and are endorsed (in the case of charter operations) by the Department of Tourism. For a list of licensed, inspected charter operators based on the Brac (although I think one of these links is just general charters in the Cayman Islands) and therefore recommended by the Tourism Department, you can check the links below:

Although they are listed as fishing charters, most operators do snorkelling / sightseeing trips as well.

There are currently no sailing charters on the Brac, just motor boats.

I should make it clear that I am related to someone who owns a charter operation, however I am not interested in soliciting for business on this forum - just posting correct information and ensuring that visitors to the island remain safe and aren't subjected to hard sell tactics by operators who are unlicensed and unsafe.

Your posts are always appropriate and helpful. Many who post here have never been to the Brac so it is nice to have your first hand and accurate input : )

You're welcome. You made your point clearly but discreetly, so as not to discredit anyone else. I hope others can " read between the lines" and will choose a licensed and regulated provider on the Brac or any of the 3 Cayman Islands.
