I have been to Grand Cayman and stayed at the Royal Reef Resort a few years back and am going to stay at Seven Mile this time. I realize this isn't the Ritz but I would still like some information that wouldn't be on the hotel site if anyone can help.

The site says it has a beach at its location with beach chairs even though its not on the beach. Kind of doesn't make sense there.

Restaurants in the area? Is the Dive Shop a good one etc..

We stayed there last June. Very nice resort. Extremely short walkway to beach. Beach chairs available for SMBR guests. Nice pool. No complaints--and we're picky!

Used Don Foster's dive shop (had satellite office at the Comfort Suites, next door to SMBR) Can't say enough great things about them, and we will dive eith them again this year.

Walk across the street to restaurant (Coconuts??) for good drink specials and food.
