From the search tool/map it looks like the Baths are about 2 miles from Spanish Town where we will be staying. We are relatively fit and would rather walk/hike versus drive/taxi. To put it into perspective we walked/hiked over 40 miles on St. John. With that said, 2 miles is not an issue – except if we are dealing with steep inclines, cars zipping past us, etc.
Am I dreaming thinking we can wake up in the morning – walk to the Baths for a snorkel (if seas are calm) and then either walk back or taxi back to continue our day?
If not, looking at the map I have, is there another beach (St. Thomas Bay / Fischer’s Cove / Valley Trunk) that is within walking distance from Spanish Town that would provide a good morning/wake-up snorkel to start the day? Everything looks close but I’m not familiar with the terrain.
