Mahoe Bay v Nail Bay villas

We are going on a multi-generational family trip next March. We are looking into villas with a pool on Virgin Gorda. Originally were drawn to the villas at Mahoe Bay bc the beach looked perfect for the little ones (calm/protected). But the villas in our price range (ie Caribbean Wind) seem a bit dated and some reviews have mentioned a big mosquito/ant problem. The villas on Nail Bay (ie Turtle Bay House) look much more up to date & less 'shabby', but we can't tell from the pics if the beach would be good for the little ones. Any advice?

Turtle Bay House is located above Mountain Trunk, which is a very nice beach with palapas, beach chairs, and great snorkeling. The children would love that beach.

How many people are in your party?

Have you looked at this house at Mahoe?

You might like this place down near the Baths area of the island as well:

We stayed in two different Villa's at Mahoe Bay last year and loved them both. They are Villa Beach Comber and Villa Blue Lagoon. Mahoe Bay is the most beautiful beach you will ever visit plus it's almost completely free of people because there are so few home's in the area. There were days that we were the only ones on the beach. We have been lucky enough to have visited Hawaii and USVI dozens of times but have never found anything like the Mahoe Bay area. As for bugs, one area wouldn't be any different than the other. We never had any problem other then normal bugs you would expect in the tropics.

Thank you both for taking the time to reply to me (my first trip advisor post, so I was a little nervous :) ). Looks like either way, we will have a lovely stay...thanks for helping alleviate my concerns!
