Which would be better with a 2 year old? Also is there any good diving spots near these resorts?

I just spent the Christmas holiday at the Bitter End and absolutely loved it. There is diving everywhere. This area, you should know, is mostly for people who sail. The facilities and the resort are gorgeous. We were moored in the bay for three days and went ashore everyday. There are little stops around the bay that houses Bitter End. Beachside bars, etc. You would probably want a pool for a two year old? They've got it. You can't go wrong with the Bitter End. If you do go, make sure you eat at the Fat Virgin Cafe and have conch fritters!

little dix also has a pool now - plus I think the beach is much nicer at little dix for small kids to play - the resort can supply you (at a reasonable cost) with a babysitter - not sure bitter end has that (though with some planning in advance probably would). I don't think a 2 year old is old enough for the children's grove - but you could stay with her and she could play with the toys and dress up clothes. The spa at Little Dix is great (but don't allow kids up there). You can have the staff at little dix take you to a beach elsewhere as well - Bitter end is very much for boaters/sailors and LDB I think is more oriented to non-boaters, playing on the beach, etc. - also, at Little Dix it is a little easier to access the rest of Virgin Gorda - can rent a car on-site for example.
