Hi There We stayed at La Terrasse in February for 2 weeks - it is a great resort - very clean, great linens. No oven - which bothered us and no bbq's but we did get along fine with what they had. The grocery store in the resort is great. Lots of restaurants in the area. The pool and garden area are beautiful. You can walk to Mullet Bay Beach - about a 10 minute walk. If they like to watch planes land and take off - this is the place, they even have a platform in the pool area to watch from! The noise from the planes was not a problem in the rooms. St. Maarten is a very busy island - lots of traffic. If you rent a car and want to travel around, plan to be stuck in traffic for a short time but it's worth the wait. Beautiful beaches and scenery! Try to avoid Orient Beach when the cruise ships are in - it looks like a refugee camp for sunbathers! Report as inappropriate | ||||||
