Yes you can, I contacted them yesterday asking the same question. I am staying there in December through a timeshare exchange but am arriving a day earlier. They said they could accommodate me in the hotel side at $140 US a night. E.mail the resort directly for more info.

I've found it to be cheaper to book directly through expedia. Oyster bay will show up there with hotel rooms.
