Bon jou MindyKBoulder,

The Soufriere Farmer's Market takes place Wednesdays & Saturdays from early AM at the Fisheries Complex located close to the bridge and cemetery...

AND everyday on the streets around the square.

Bless up! Paul

The best time to go is Saturday, really early in the morning. By 10 or so many of the vendors start to sell out of their goods or move on. Of course, it depends on the day. Wednesday is pretty good but Saturday is the day you'll see the most vendors by far. If you want to get fresh fish, it helps to go really early.

Will I be able to get fresh produce on a Monday morning?

Thanks,

Yes, MindyKBoulder, you will find plenty farmer's selling their produce and food products (cocoa sticks, dried spices, coconut oil, banana bread, sweets, etc...) and fresh fish every day, including Monday, around the Soufriere square.

Blessings! Paul

During the week there are certainly things you can buy around the square but the selection really isn't like it is on Saturday. Here's what the market looks like on a typical Saturday morning:

Checkout the size of the carrots at about 2:35 into the video. We certainly can't grow them like this in the lower 48!

Wow, quite different from what we saw this morning. Just a few very small vendors. Got some nice, very overpriced papayas and avocado. Very few mangos to be seen.
