Coco Palm, St. Lucia

We are considering travelling to Coco Palm, St. Lucia on March 11 and are wondering if the area has been affected by flood. Can we swim in the ocean and take some tours? How is the weather there at this time of the year?

Thank you.

No, the area was not affected by the floods of a month ago, the ocean all around the island has recovered just fine. You will barely notice anything even happended (except on your ride up to the hotel due to the few bypasses). Coco Palm is in great shape. You can swim in the sea and take tours with no problems.

Weather should be typical for that time of year - hot, dry, sunny, occasional passing showers.

Enjoy your visit.

I spoke with Kurt one of the bartenders at Coco Palm last evening and he stated that the hotel was not affected by the flooding. The beach is a short five minute walk from the hotel. You can also purchase and book tours at the hotel. It's a great hotel with a fantastic location in the center of Rodney Bay...you will have a fantastic stay!

the affected areas of the island by flooding has been placed in a state of normalcy , you are able to swim in the ocean , as for the weather march is the middle of our dry season and therefor the sun will be out in full effect so you can go on many excursions ,such as hikes , waterfall vistes , going to the volcano and snorkeling

ect , an sure you will love the atmosphere when you get here ...
