Hello, I am considering staying at the East Winds Inn in August after reading so many rave reviews about the food and experiences there. I would be travelling with my husband (who is very sensitive to heat) and my two young children.
My one major concern is the lack of A/C. East Winds has been so kind in corresponding with me and said they have a portable A/C unit they can provide to us in the Superior Room...but is this enough to cool the room? If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know.
We stayed at Anse Chastenet pre-kids and it was unbearably hot in the evenings for my husband so I am worried about putting him through that. Already I may be pushing it with the open air restaurant.
