I would appreciate any help I can get. We are headed to St. Lucia soon and need to decide between these two hotels. We would not do the all-inclusive at the Rex, just eat at area restaurants.

The main thing we want to do is snorkel. I noticed someone posted pictures of beautiful beaches north and south of AMB. Are they within walking distance (along the beach)? Is there snorkeling at either? Do they have clearer water?

Is there any snorkeling at Reduit Beach?

Also any recent reviews on the food at AMB would be fabulous!
