Ladera is top class in every way,posh if you like but not.It has a nice ambience without snobbery. Do your research before you go and then it will be a dream holiday.The missing wall does leave you open to anything coming in but critter wise I am v phobic but was pleasantly surprised. You will experience the odd little bird in the day for a visit and at night little lizards,treefrogs(doubt you will see them but will definately hear them,they are very very loud) and the worst moths.Stay under your mosquito net and you will be fine.I personally couldnt of stayed there for two weeks,I would suggest a twin centre.There for one week and another hotel for the other week. It is a fantastic place,amazing views,rooms and food.The staff are quite slow but this is the Caribbean,just chill and enjoy the scenery!
