My family went to St. Lucia while on a two week cruise over the

holidays. We travel a lot and have always wanted to go to St. Lucia. By the

time we got to St. Lucia, we were all sick of the other people on the

boat and decided not to take one of the tours the cruise had

prearranged. However, we ended up meeting Bernard Montoute, a taxi driver in St.

Lucia. Bernard took us on an amazing all day tour of the island. Not

only was the tour interesting and the island beautiful, Bernard's price

was unbelievable compared to any other tour offered (both through the

cruise and independent of the cruise). Besides the price being great,

the tour was only for our family of 5, so we had a chance to spend as

much or as little time at the different sites as we wanted and got to

ride around the island in an air conditioned clean van. We actually

considered taking another tour before we met Bernard and ended up seeing all

20 of the tourist on that tour at one of the sites and they all looked

miserable, hot, and cramped into a van. I highly recommend that you

contact Bernard Montoute and arrange an island tour or even just simple

transportation if you are going to St. Lucia.
