Hi,

My husband and I and two other couples will be vacationing at Papillion by Rex Resorts Jan 17-27, 2007. Has anyone been to this resort and if so, how was it and what can we expect?

We were originally scheduled for Club St. Lucia, but with the sale to Morgan Almond Bay, MAB refused to honor exsisting reservations of guests of Club St. Lucia in any of their other resorts on St. Lucia from the date of it's closing to the date of it's opening as MAB. Rex Resorts was gracious enough to accommodate our little group.

I've read in the web site that dinner dress is "smart casual". Can someone explain to me what this means? Am I correct is thinking that it's no shorts, t-shirts, and/or jeans?

I will await your review with interest - we are going to the St Lucian by Rex the sister hotel to the Papillion in March(I think you can use the facilities of either hotel) from what I have read the hotels are in need of some TLC but on a fabulous beach (just what we want) - I did however read recently that the Papillion had had a refurishment so it may be sparkling ! - please write a review and let us all know what the hotel and resort is like
