Wedding/Reception at Ladera |
|
Hello, We are interested in holding our wedding and/or reception at the Ladera Hotel. We were wondering if anyone else has recently held their wedding and/or reception at the Ladera. We have a wedding party of 20 - 30 and are unsure whether this venue would be suitable. What we don't want is a 'conveyor belt' wedding. We look forward to your response. Thanks, Jaime and Mark Report as inappropriate |

I didn't have one there, but I was a guest at Ladera and saw a wedding and reception the Saturday we were there, and there were around 25 or so guests at this wedding. Ladera is anything but conveyor belt. We were on our honeymoon at the time, and were completely regretting doing the whole big ballroom wedding when we saw the Ladera wedding. It was so beautiful. The ceremony took place on the deck overlooking the Piton Mountains at sunset, the location is absolutely incredible! Ladera had made a large arch of tropical flowers where the bride and groom stood that was beautiful. The low sound of the waterfall from the pool also added this extra "umph" of tropical ambiance, I was moved to tears and I didn't even cry at my own wedding! LOL! Ladera had created a table of appetizers, a 3 tiered cake, and passed wine on the deck for cocktail hour while the bride and groom went around the tropical garden property and took pictures by the coi ponds and other locations. Then all the guests moved to the Dasheene Restaurant of Ladera, on their own private terrace, where we could see them, and them us, but they were still separate. Ladera as a surprise had the live entertainment they have every Saturday night sing a special song to the bride and groom that I thought was especially nice. The wedding guests loved it! The food at Dasheene, especially dinner, is just incredible! And the chef wrote out Congrats on the plate of the bride and groom, which I thought was so sweet. Overall, I thought the bride and groom at Ladera and all their guests had a blast! It was beautiful and the staff at Ladera looked like pro's, as a recent bride I was noticing how easily everything transitioned, and all the little details were taken care of. I never thought of myself as the destination wedding type before I saw that wedding at Ladera! Just incredible! Report as inappropriate | ||||||
