Almond Morgan Bay US adapter and/or converter |
|
I'm from US and am still confused about the electricity converter/adapter situation. Do I need BOTH a UK three long verticle prong adapter and a 110 to 220 converter for each small electrical appliance including hair curler, shaver, phone charger--or do I only need an adapter? From what I have read on the internet, it would appear that I need to convert the electricity voltage as well as adapt for the plug. Also I have seen three different voltage amounts on different websites for St. Lucia-220,230, and 240. What is it? I would appreciate any input. Thanks. Report as inappropriate |

I would also be interested in finding out what plugs we use, I am from the UK, so am I right in thinking that I can use my straightners by plugging them straight in to the mains?? Report as inappropriate

The rooms are fitted with standard UK type sockets (Receptacles for those from the USA)operating at 230 volt 50 Hz, as well as standard USA receptacles operating at 110v 50 HZ. you needn't worry about the 50-60HZ difference on domestic appliances so adaptors should not be required at all Report as inappropriate
