gerardk -- i have not been there yet, but we are also planning a trip so i've done a lot of research. there are floorplans on the web site -- www.windjammer-landing.com -- goto ACCOMODATIONS and then VILLAS and click on SAMPLE TWO BEDROOM FLOORPLAN. if you are talking about the 2 bedroom suites, i am not sure. we are actually looking at a 3 bedroom villa... we were told the living area is "open air concept" and does not have ac or doors (although i think you can close things up a bit in the event of a storm), but the bedrooms do have both ac and doors. hope this helps.

Thanks Jogle. I've taken a look at the floorplans and it looks like the bedrooms are separated by the open air space. I'm not sure I like having my children separated like that. I have asked the same question of the Windjammer folks via e-mail and have not gotten that question answered. If I find out the answer I will post it.

gerardk: Some of the villas are open are and some have sliding or french doors. These villas usually have A/C throughout the villa. You can call the WJL receptionist and ask to reseve a specific type of villa. If it is available they will accomodate your request.

The bedrooms are not connected. They are on a different levels (2) connected by a stairway. Each bedroom door is lockable. They are very nice. Each bedroom will have it own terrace or balcony with a great view of the ocean. I have some pics of the exterior of a couple of them.
