Absolutely. Jalousie offers optional all-inclusive, so their non AI guests pay cash. Also, Ladera folks use the Jalousie beach via shuttle, and they pay cash at the bars & restaurants.

Remember my "beach/pool menu" tip: for some crazy reason, this menu has some of exact same items as the sitdown open air restaurant by the beach/pool. BUT the prices on this limited menu are significantly lower. It has burgers, club sandwiches, fish 'n chips, and a few other things. I think we paid $8.50 and shared a cheeseburger w/fries, and asked for a few GLASSES of icewater. No charge for this water. If the beach server brings you bottles of water, check your bill... they'll cost more than a Coke I'm told. And tax & tip is already included on the bill, but ask to make sure. We'd just round up the change as an additional tip.

If you do want to eat in the restaurant, check out the buffet if you're hungry. It's usually ok, but ask the price before being seated so there's no surprise.
