We were at Anse last week in 9a - on the beach. Yes, there was a bit of noise from the restaurant in the mornings but we found that the birds and the waves woke us up anyway, specially as there is no glass in any of the windows - only wooden shutters.

The 7's are good, but anything further up the hill would also be fine. Don't forget there is also the Piton restaurant at the top of the hotel and we were told by other guests that that was also noisy before breakfast.

If you want views of the Pitons, you need to book a hillside room. The beachside rooms do not have views of the glorious mountains. We stayed in a hillside deluxe room, 4A, and had no noise. Had views of the ocean AND the Pitons...can't go wrong there!!

we were also in a hillside deluxe room - 15b. It has a lovely ocean view, but no view of the pitons. It was a goregous and massive room though and no noise. I'd go back and request that room in an instant.

Upgrade to Jade Mountain Suite - They may ugrade you if you ask when you arrive - It happend to another couple we met when we were staying there in Nov 2006. We paid for Jade Sun Suite and they got upgraded from a beach room to a Moon Suite for same rate! The view from Jade is unsurpassed!
