I loved them, but I like buffets to begin with. One night I had Strip steak and another was Pork Chops, both very good. Go hungry.

We enjoyed something like the Grill buffet night at the Caribe Hilton in January. Like you, we returned from a late activity -- baseball in Carolina -- and were quite tired, so we took our chances. The selection, including really tasty cuts of beef, yummy unlimited baby lamp chops, various spanish sausages and any salad or dessert you could imagine, didn't do us any harm despite the fact that -- are you sitting down? -- we ate about three times what we would have had it not been a buffet! They were even so kind as to accommodate us and two other tables who arrived toward the tail end of the evening and the maitre d' assured us they wouldn't stop serving, refreshing the buffet, etc., until we were satisfied. Yes, it was a few dollars apiece more than we'd expect to pay, but the service was excellent, they made a point of taking care of us, and we were glad it was there when we needed it.

Thanks for your responses. There is a grilled meats night and that is on Easter. I was thinking that may be a good night to dine at the buffet.
