Carousel looks really cool, it's owned by a fellow board member...we'll be in Runaway Bay at the end of the month and we're checking it out for a possible stay next year.

I am staying there in June. I did a ton of research on many different villas in and around that area. I compiled a huge notebook. Then i went through highlighting good & bad at each place. Carousel Villa won hands down Also I have Eed a person who stayed there and he told me he was a cop, and that he & his family always felt totally safe there. That was good enough for me!

Club Ambiance has a private villa. You may want to check it out.

I have actually talked to the owner of Carousel..she is a sweetie!! Ms. Millie will take very good care of you!! I want to bring my three kids to see her! I really think you'll enjoy. It's not ON the beach..but close. My next trip to JA I need to visit Carousel and Babashak (a B&B that should be checked out!!!). We have always gone just the two of us..as a "romantic getaway" and stayed at Club Ambiance..which is GREAT for couples..but not for families (adults only). Let me know how all turned out at Carousel!!!

We've been thinking of a villa rental for the last couple of years, but just haven't been sure. As luck would have it, one of the owners of Carousel Villa was recently in Jamaica at the same time as us, so we were able to visit the villa and see firsthand exactly what we could expect. First off, let me say that I've emailed with one, and met one owner of Carousel Villa and they are really great people, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to do business with them.

As for the villa itself, it's just awesome! The design is great, with an open air swimming pool right in the middle of the house. All the living areas of the house kind of "carousel" around the swimming pool and make for a great social environment. The villa is older, but is in great condition. The pride of ownership is easily apparent in this property, as everything's in clean, attractive and in good repair. It seems that the owners are constantly adding/upgrading amenities and the villa really presented itself well. The bedrooms are all air-conditioned and the common living areas are open air. We're looking for a villa for 3-4 couples where we can all hang out together, but have some seperation for sleeping, etc. Carousel seems to fit the bill to a tee. We're all golfers, so the fact that the villa's on the golf course, and greens fees are included is a huge plus. There are a lot of little things too that add up in my book...unlimited wi-fi and long distance phone for $40/week, great Bose sound system, BBQ grill, etc. etc. etc.

The beach is just a short jaunt away, and is one of my favorites on the north coast...just next to Breezes Runaway Bay, great sandy swimming, and a nice reef just offshore for snorkeling. It's semi-private, and only other members of Cardiff Hall Association are allowed.

All in all, I was really impressed with Carousel AND it's owners.
